Michael Praed's Fanfare has a chat room provided by AddOn Chat. It is available 24/7 to all members. There is a "Chat" link in the Forum Menu for all who are signed in. You need to sign in with your forum username and password before you can use the room.

Java is the operating system for the chat room. To download the current version (1.6.0_11), please go to the Java website. If you have trouble with the chat room itself, AddOn Chat's support section is located here.


Features:

  • Resizable chat window
  • Personalize your text font, color and size for viewing
  • Private messaging
  • Generous limit on length of messages (approx. 1800 characters)
  • Emoticons that coordinate with our forum
  • Chat avatars with Michael as the theme
  • 'Ignore' feature for blocking specific users (Well, it is a feature, even if we don't need to use it!)
  • Custom phrases for quick exits (door, phone, family emergencies, etc)
  • Moderated chat enabled so we can accommodate a Very Special Guest


Note: Moderated chat can only accept 25 people and space will be limited. Only fan club members will receive announcements of impending special visits. Please do what you can to avoid disappointment. Plan ahead and sign up today.
